Creative Advertising Examples – Creative Advertisements

From time to time, you’ll want to be reminded of some creative things being done in the world of advertising. I looked at these the other day when searching for a few marketing ideas. What I found was incredible. Through my day-to-day work, I rarely see ads like this. They somewhat turn the tables on what people expect. They are outside the box.

Once I saw them, I was more able to think differently after seeing the creativity!

Talk about creative! A shadow of a tree that’s not there!

Although, not for everyone this item replaces a printed item with a real life one. Clever.

Who wouldn’t want to break the glass! Oh wait, you can’t. Point taken!

This is just cool.

This sets a warm tone but it’s still the same bus stop. Wow!

Talk about flexibility! This one is amazing!

Playing with visuals. What a photo op!

Message is so powerful. May not be a practical ad but it’s remarkable.

Save water!

Grim! Like the following example, I don’t condone marketing with fear but hey, this is cool in it’s own way.

This is grim and scary. I don’t think fear is the best way to market but it sure is powerful.

Big Companies, Small Town Marketing… Mass produced Niche Products:

This certainly looks like it’s not mass produced.

Here’s how it works…

Small local company produces something cool and markets it. It’s something natural. A niche product with hometown packaging and labeling. I’ve noticed a lot of craft paper, cardboard boxes, handwritten labels, string, wood tones, ball jelly jars and thick natural paper.

When it gets enough attention, big companies see these niche products and copy them. Well, it’s the nature of things go I suppose.

We need to be able to distinguish the small and niche from the mass produced but for now, we’ll have to just be aware that some mass produced products are just mass produced products in disguise. They may be better than the other more typical products from these producers, still, it’s a replica – not an original.

Clever and Creative Shopping Bag Designs

Look what can be done with a bit of creativity!

Take a simple shopping bag. Then, look at the images and follow the links.

Here, a heavy object that would normally have a handle is pictured. Talk about a clever shopping bag design!

A bit of cleverness and creativity leads to some pretty interesting combinations.

The cool thing about this is you can always do a print run of bags and run out never to print them again if you don’t like em.

On the flip side, you have an opportunity to give customers something to talk about. Hopefully they already want to talk about the amazing experience of the store, now they want to share about the bag too!
